What is the purpose of this feature?
The Multiple Payout Accounts feature allows site hosts with more than one location to assign separate bank accounts for each location. You no longer need to create multiple accounts with different emails, simplifying your revenue management. This is most helpful to property managers that have one bank account per property and want to pair one or more locations to each property.
How do I set up multiple payout accounts as a new site host?
If you have never set up a payout account in your AmpUp Community Manager before, it’s easy:
- Login to your Community Manager and navigate to the "Revenue" section.
- Click the “Add Account” button and choose the locations to attach to that first account.
- Follow the account setup steps.
- Once assigned, revenue will be automatically split based on the assigned locations.
How do I add multiple payout accounts as an existing site host?
- Go to the "Revenue" section in your dashboard.
- Ensure that your account balance is withdrawn before making changes.
- Click the “edit pencil” icon to remove any locations from your currently linked account.
- Click “Add Account” and select the locations to assign to the new bank accounts.
- Follow the account setup steps.
- Once assigned, revenue will be split based on the locations.
What happens if I currently use only one payout account?
- If you want to keep all your locations linked to one account, no changes are required.
- All revenue will continue to go to your existing payout account, regardless of how many locations you manage.
What if I need to merge multiple site host accounts?
If your locations are currently spread across multiple Community Manager accounts with different emails, we can help simplify your operations:
- Ensure all account balances are $0 before merging.
- Contact Customer Support and request AmpUp merge your accounts into one.
- Once merged, you can set up and assign multiple payout accounts to your locations.
Are there any restrictions when adding or editing payout accounts?
- You can only edit or add payout accounts if the balance for the account or location is $0.
- A location must be removed from a payout account (with a balance of $0) before it can be assigned to a new one.
