Idle fees are set by the host and are generally non-refundable. To get a refund for an idle fee, you need to request the refund from the host directly. If you look at your receipt or navigate to the charger in the AmpUp app, you can usually find the host's contact information.
Should you have trouble reaching the host, please submit a request at support.ampup.io and AmpUp will put you in touch with the host.
Why can't AmpUp just refund the Idle Fee?
Because hosts set idle fees to manage the usage of their chargers, our staff does not have the full context.
I was charged an Idle Fee in error
