Generally all payments at AmpUp are non-refundable. That said, from time to time AmpUp receives requests for refunds and will consider the circumstances.
Refund Policy for Idle Fees
Idle fees are non refundable by AmpUp, unless there was a severe hardware or software error that resulted in the charge (meaning, the car should not have been idle but the charger failed to charge it and it incurred an idle fee as a result–this is extremely rare). Any other request for an Idle Fee refund must go to the host, who has discretion on whether or not to approve that request. The host would notify AmpUp to fulfill the request if desired.
Refund Policy for Charging Fees
Sometimes errors occur at the hardware or software level, or mistakes are made, and we will consider refunding the driver. This is at AmpUp's sole discretion. We may consult the logs, hardware provider, site host, or driver in making our decision. We may make this refund out of our own funds or refund the payment out of the Host's funds at our sole discretion.
How long do refund requests take to process?
AmpUp aims to reply within an hour during business hours and 24 hours outside of business hours to all requests. Depending on the request, it may take days or longer to fully analyze what happened. However, most requests are resolved within a day.
