AmpUp has detected a Ground Failure error on your charger at your site. Because this error indicates a potential power supply or grounding problem, it poses a safety risk. As a precaution, we have placed the charger Out of Order (OOO). It is currently not operational and cannot be used by drivers until this issue is resolved.
To resolve this safely and get your charger back online, please have a qualified technician or electrician visit the site to perform the following troubleshooting steps:
- Inspect for Physical Damage: Look for any visible damage to the charger, cable, or connector.
- Perform a Power Cycle: Switch off the breakers for 5 minutes and then turn them back on.
- Inspect the Power Supply: Check the breaker panel to ensure power is stable and that all breakers are properly switched on. Please inspect the ground wire termination at the panel as well.
- Check the Grounding Connection: Confirm that the charger’s grounding wire is properly connected and there are no loose or corroded connections. (Your technician can reference the charger’s installation manual for confirmation).
