We noticed that your charger is currently showing a "Line Voltage Error," which indicates that the unit is detecting an unstable or incorrect power supply. Because this issue typically stems from the power source itself, it poses a safety risk.
As a precaution, we have placed the charger Out of Order (OOO). We understand this downtime affects your drivers, but the charger is currently non-operational and cannot be used until it is safe to do so.
To resolve this safely and get your charger back online, please have a certified electrician or technician visit the site to perform the following troubleshooting steps:
- Check the Power Supply: Verify that the input voltage matches the charger’s required level (e.g., 208V or 240V AC). If the voltage is outside the expected range, please have the electrician correct the power supply.
- Inspect Breakers and Wiring: Ensure all breakers are fully seated and not tripped. Check for any loose or damaged wiring and securely tighten all connections.
- Verify the Ground Connection: Make sure the charger is properly grounded and that the ground wire is secure.
- Perform a Power Cycle: Turn off the charger’s breaker, wait for about 5 minutes, and then turn it back on to see if the error clears.
- Monitor Power Stability: If the issue happens intermittently, there may be voltage fluctuations on-site. We recommend having your electrician monitor the line voltage for consistency.
Need help on-site? If your technician needs any remote assistance while they are physically at the charger, they can call our AmpUp Host Support line directly at 833-692-6787.
If the voltage and connections appear normal after these steps but the error persists, please let us know and we will escalate this case for further technical review.
