[Critical] Fault Detected - Leakage Self-Test Fault
We noticed that your charger ([QR/Station ID]) is currently showing an "OtherError – Leakage Self-Test Fault." This typically occurs when the system detects a possible ground fault or when the internal leakage protection mechanism needs to be reset.
Safety is our top priority. Because this error indicates a potential electrical hazard, we have proactively placed the unit Out of Order (OOO). We know this downtime is inconvenient for your drivers, but the charger is currently non-operational and must remain offline until it is verified as safe.
To resolve this issue and safely restore service, please have a qualified technician or electrician visit the site to perform the following troubleshooting steps:
- Inspect for Ground Faults: Ensure there is no visible damage to the cables or connectors, and verify that the charger is properly grounded.
- Check the Environment: Confirm there is no water ingress, dust, or debris around the charging connector or inside the unit.
- Perform a Power Cycle: Switch off the charger's breakers for at least 5 minutes, then turn them back on to see if the error clears.
- Test the System: After completing the inspection and power cycle, plug in a vehicle to see if the charger operates normally.
Need help on-site? If your technician needs remote assistance while they are physically at the charger, please have them call our AmpUp Host Support line directly at 833-692-6787.
If the error persists after these steps are completed, please let us know so we can escalate the case to our technical team for further investigation.
